So far I've had 6 pegs, 2 prims, 0 eternals, 0 smouldering stones in 1050. I just want some smouldering stones : (. They're a really weak upgrade. +3 mage is like .02 DPS increase in most cases. But so are all of Cerb's drops. The upgrade are extremely minimal. Honestly the boss probably isnt macro-efficient at all. Yes pegs are better. However they are 35?m for a a 5 accuracy bonus, so there are plenty of more useful items you should be getting first. I suppose it depends on what you're doing, but generally yes, pegasians are better.
